All Councillors Dear Councillor TOWN COUNCIL OF TEWKESBURY You are hereby summoned to a meeting of the Town Council to be held in the Town Hall on Monday 9th June 2008 at 6.00 p.m. The business to be transacted is: 1. Prayers. 2. To Hear Presentation from Becky Jeal Priors Park Flood Project Coordinator 3. To Receive Apologies 4. To Receive Mayor's Announcements. 5 Pursuant to the adoption by the Council on 24 September 2007 of the Tewkesbury Town Council Code of Conduct, Members are invited to declare any interest they might have in the business set out on the Agenda to which the approved Code applies. 6. To Consider and Agree Minutes (enclosed) of the Adjourned meeting of the Council held on 19 May 2008 7. Matters arising for information only 8. Public participation. Advance notice must be given to the Town Clerk of not less that 5 clear working days prior to the Council meeting. This notice excludes the day of the meeting and may be given, in writing, by telephone, or by calling in person at the council office in the Town Hall. 9. To Consider the Minutes of meetings of the Planning Committee held on 21 May and 4 June 2008. 10. To Receive Report from Cllr Dixon on the Car Park Survey part 2 (to follow) 11. To Consider and Agree Nuts and Bolts Training and Being a Good Councillor Training for Councillors (enclosed) 12. To Consider and Agree Request from Tewkesbury Popular Angling Club to Erect Fishing Platforms (letter enclosed) 13. To Receive Report from Town Mayor on Gloucestershire Market Towns Forum Visit to Essex 14. To Receive Report from Infrastructure Working Group held on 27th May 2008 15. To Agree the Accounts for payment and budget report (enclosed) 16. To Agree End of Year Account Payments (previously enclosed) 17. Public participation. The council shall be addressed through the Town Mayor. There will be no debate and no decision will be made in relation to the question or statement. however, the Mayor may rule that the issue might be considered in committee or at a future meeting of the council. Members are reminded that the Council has a general duty to consider the following matters in the exercise of any of its functions: Equal Opportunities (race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status and any disability), Crime & Disorder, Health & Safety and Human Rights.
